The Borrelia afzelii IgM ELISA (PKo strain) serves as screening test for the semiquantitative and qualitative detection of IgG antibodies to Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato in human serum. The used antigen is a mix of B. afzelii strain PKo, the B. garinii strain PBr and the B. burgdorferi strain ZS7 that are recommended antigens for Europe.
