The Borrelia afzelii+VlsE IgG ELISA (PKo strain) serves as screening test for the semiquantitative and qualitative detection of IgG antibodies to Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato in human serum. The used antigen is a mix of B. afzelii strain PKo, the B. garinii strain PBr and the B. burdorferi strain ZS7 that are recommended antigens for Europe.
