The HSV 2 (gG2) ELISA is intended for the semiquantitative and qualitative detection of specific IgG/IgM-antibodies against Herpes simplex Virus (HSV) type 2 in human serum. The serology is suitable for the detection of the immune status and as Herpes exclusion.
